Chernaik v. Oregon
Our Children's Trust is excited to share our three lesson curriculum based on the youth climate lawsuit filed by two young Oregonians against the State of Oregon, Chernaik v. Brown, which was argued before the Oregon Supreme Court on November 13, 2019.
This new curriculum, built around this historic lawsuit, provides teachers with an opportunity to engage students in lessons on current events, civics, climate science, youth-led movements, and the law. The curriculum is available for free download.
